Football player AJ McCarron proposed to his model girlfriend, Katherine Webb, over the weekend with a gorgeous (and custom-designed) cushion-cut diamond in a halo setting.
Katherine tweeted about her engagement several times, showing off her sparkly engagement ring from different angles, saying, “Can’t wait to marry my best friend. I can’t stop looking at it!” Don’t worry, Katherine — we can’t either.
The proposal was also just as gorgeous (and delicious), since AJ asked Katherine to marry him in Gulf Shores, Alabama, at The Beach Club Resort with two sweet cakes representing their home state and upcoming wedding — and an important little box, of course.
